30 Days Of Night #1

Classics never die, especially those who make you pray for death. At least, that's what you were thinking when you went up against the bloodthirsty neck biters in the original Steve Niles horror saga, which was later made into a terrifying theatrical thriller. What? You say you're drawing a blank? Well, for those of you who need to be re-educated about the horror that was once unleashed upon the world wayyyy back when IDW was in its infancy, 30 Days Of Night #1 (OCT170412) brings back the IDW classic reimagined for the modern era, keeping the frights while keeping you guessing! Here is a horrifically different re-telling of the story by writer Steve Niles and new series artist Piotr Kowalski. Pick it up in the Premier Comics section of the October PREVIEWS catalog!

Kill The Minotaur TP

Everyone loves a happy ending, which is why Image Comics' Kill The Minotaur TP (OCT170651) will leave you cold and depressed. Happy endings are overrated! Who needs a smile when a frown is the best umbrella for cold and despondence? This trade paperback which collects the six-issue series from writers Chris Pasetto, Christian Cantamessa, and artist Lukas Ketner is not the kind of story that makes you dance like a debutante. Citizens of Athens must sacrifice their own in order to satiate King Minos, and no one has ever returned from an encounter with the most fearsome beast in all of mythology. Conspirators, however, believe Theseus can be the hero that they need...until, of course, they find themselves next in line to cross the path of the savage Minotaur. It is a bloody, gory story that awaits you in the Premier Comics section of the October PREVIEWS catalog!

Living Dead Dolls: Annabelle Doll

Diamonds are a girl's best friend. Dolls are a little girl's best companions. Dead dolls are everyone's worst nightmares, as they're proof that dangerous toys can kill you with smiles on their faces. Take, for example, the Kiss of Death which is the Living Dead Dolls: Annabelle Doll (OCT172447) from Mezco. Her pretty white dress may insinuate that she's all dressed up for tea time, but unless you've lost your hearing, there's a cacophonous orchestra of death that she dances to as she makes her way into your hands, your heart, and your humble abode. Don't pity her. Don't try to clean her bruises and scars. Those are wounds inflicted by those who last died under her dead eyes. And you'll be next if you leave Annabelle in your bedroom when the lights go out! The perfect gift for a loved one who's now residing in cold earth, Annabelle can be found in the Toys/Statues/Models section of the October PREVIEWS catalog!

Nightmare On Elm Street II: Ultimate Freddy 7-Inch AF

He single-handedly transfromed slasher films in the 80s to an art form. Well, along with Michael Myers. That's actually a point of contention between them, which actually went on to spawn Freddy Vs. Jason. And then there was a sequel after that one! So we'll go freestyle on this one. Who do you think was the biggest baddie in horror films in the 80s? Ol' hamburger face here? If so, pick up the Nightmare On Elm Street II: Ultimate Freddy 7-Inch AF (OCT172484) to show off Mr Krueger, and his three interchangeable heads, 2 dogs, gloved hand, monster hand, and removable hat. There's even an attachable fire effect from the pool scene! This version of the horror icon is as he appears in the movie Freddy's Revenge!
