HBO Orders Pilot, Scripts for Watchmen Series

The HBO series based on DC Entertainment's Watchmen moved forward according to an article in the September 21 edition of The Hollywood Reporter.
According to the report, "The premium cable network has officially handed out a pilot order and commissioned additional scripts for producer Damon Lindelof's (The Leftovers) take on Alan Moore's beloved graphic novel."
The project was first announced in the trade paper's June 21 issue.
