The toughest Princess in the galaxy gets her own series from superstar team Mark Waid and Terry Dodson in Star Wars: Princess Leia (JUN150822). Taking place around the same time as the ongoing Star Wars series, Leia grabs her handy blaster and heads to the world of Sullust to save fugitive Alderaanians from the clutches of the Empire. Waid’s snappy writing is perfect for the no-nonsense Leia, and Dodson’s art humanizes the lost Princess without softening the robust action scenes. This series asks the question, can one women take down the might of the Galactic Empire? Leia’s answer is, “Just watch me.”
