Bring On The Bad Guys: Hatchet, Mr. Freeze, & Darth Vader

Egads! Another molotov cocktail that's served as a kids drink. Say it isn't so! Say we don't have to suffer the bad guys again! Yes, sad for all of those within hearing range... you will submit!  Your lethal injection of mean is back with this month’s rendition of “Bring on the Bad Guys,” and once again we show that we don’t discriminate because of race, sex, color, or creed. If you’re rotten, you qualify. And there are many ways to qualify. It might be that you enjoy kicking cats. It might be that you eat people. Or...maybe it’s because you’re one of Satan’s soldiers. In any event, we flip through the PREVIEWS catalog each month to see who needs to be called out as a deviant, and then we explain why these people … or things … or whatever they are … shouldn’t be helped if you see them bleeding in the middle of the street.

Let us begin.

Hatchet #0

The cover of this book undiably gives new meaning to the timeless jingle, "Shave and a haircut...two bits." It's a bit over-the-top don't you think? Which is what willl make Hatchet #0 (JAN171237) from American Mythology Productions a must-have for gore fiends that relish the return of rancid R-rated horror that doesn't compromise on the gore factor. You, unfortunately, will be introduced to Victor Crowley, a deformed child that came back to life as an unstoppable killing machine. He's the brain child of film maker Adam Green, who unleashed Victor in the 2006 Hatchet horror movie. Now the dysfunctional and deformed deviant will come to a comic shop near you to hack up your neighbors into ham hocks. Check out this ultimate comic for fright fans that boats a boatload of black humor, which you can find in the Comics and Graphic Novels section of the January PREVIEWS!

DC Comics Variant Play Arts Kai: Batman Rogues Gallery Mr. Freeze Figure

One never wants to get too comfortable in his own skin. Comfort leads to conformity. Conformity leads to complacency. And complacency leads to stagnation. Which makes for one boring villain. You've got to change things up if you want to show the competition that you're never out of ideas, especially if you're in the business of putting them on ice! So check out the new boss, folks! The DC Comics Variant Play Arts Kai: Batman Rogues Gallery Mr. Freeze Figure (JAN172991) is a never-before-seen design, and it's menacing to say the least. One definitely thinks twice before crossing Freeze in this suit of armor. He's not the forgiving kind, and his new incarnation bespeaks little tolerance for negotiation. From our friends at Square Enix, you'll find this collectible in the Import Toys Statues Models section of the January PREVIEWS catalog!

Every dictator needs loyal soliders. And then there's that irreplaceable Captain of the Guard. And let us not forget, the mercenary.
