Article Image 597dYou can run, but you can't hide. They will find you. And they will kill you. So head for the TARDIS as fast as your feet will carry you, and check out the October PREVIEWS catalog to see what's happening in the world of Doctor Who!

You need not look any further than then Comics section to see that Titan has once again raised the bar for Who fans with the announcement of Doctor Who: The Twelfth Doctor Adventures Year Two #1 (OCT151659). This book is a Featured Item in the October catalog, and its written by none other than Eagle award-winning writer Robbie Morrison, with art by Rachael Stott. The situation may be familiar to you: a freshly regenerated Doctor emerges, with a new head full of unanswered questions. For this series, the Doctor's incarnation would be that of the man who played the role in the BBC TV series, Mr. Peter Capaldi. And in true Doctor fashion, our beloved Doctor in the comic wastes absolutely no time in pulling along Clara Oswald with him (as she is portrayed by actress Jenna Coleman). The two are off before you know it to visit strange and distant worlds.

Colorful, fun adventures with sharp wit, and razor fine dialogue that captures Peter Capaldi’s take on the Doctor, you'll be glad to see how this new series embraces the tone of the show.

Trademark hijinks that will make you think you're sitting in front of the television. If you long for Moffat-written episodes from the ninth season, then be sure to pre-order Doctor Who: The Twelfth Doctor Adventures Year Two #1 (OCT151659). Article Image 0d00Time traveling with the Doctor shouldn't be limited to just the ninth season, however. For those who prefer a comprehensive cruise of the Doctor's destinations, you'd best be served by heading over to our Books section in the PREVIEWS catalog to find four volumes listed for Doctor Who: The Complete History from Hachette Partworks.

The focus of these volumes are various incarnations of the Doctor, and Volume 1 (OCT151898) starts with the analysis of stories 181 through 184 featuring the Tenth Doctor. Nothing is left to chance, as these books are produced by the writers and editors of Doctor Who Magazine, and commentary is drawn from the magazine's archives. Further consideration for research should have you consult Volume 2 (OCT151899) so that you can analyze stories 58-60 of the Third Doctor's tenure, Volume 3 (OCT151900) to examine the Twelfth Doctor's house calls (stories 242 and 243), and Volume 4 to read about the First Doctor, which harkens back to the landmark stories 1 and 2 which gave us among other things those dastardly Daleks.
