Batman Day 2015 Launches With Endgame Special Edition #1

Batman Day 2015 is coming on September 26, and with it DC Entertainment rolls out the promotional comic Batman: Endgame Special Edition #1!
 
This 40-page comic reprints the lead story from Batman #35, written by Scott Snyder with art and cover by Greg Capullo and Danny Miki! (NOTE: Preliminary cover shown here.)
 
In addition, this special issue features a brand-new eight page story that leads into Batman & Robin Eternal, the new weekly series set to begin in October!  This story is by Scott Snyder and James Tynion IV, with a script by Tynion and art by Tony S. Daniel.
 
Batman: Endgame Special Edition #1 is a promotional comic offered to retailers, scheduled to arrive in stores on September 23. So now you'll know where you'll be on that date! Head to your local comic shop, and let them know you want to celebrate Batman Day this year in true Dark Knight fashion.

Additionally, DC announces that the on-sale date for the Batman Vol. 7: Endgame HC (MAY150231) has been moved up to September 16 to make sure it is on shelves in time for Batman Day 2015. As a reminder, this volume collects stories from Batman #35-40 written by Scott Snyder and features art by Greg Capullo and Danny Miki. For years, The Joker has regarded Batman with a sick, twisted love. But now, the Clown Prince of Crime is done playing. He's going to kill Batman. And he's going to do it using those whom Batman loves the most: the Justice League.
