Movie Variants Highlight Ultron's Domination

Article Image 881bHumanity engineered its own extinction with the creation of Ultron. The creation of Hank Pym, Ultron was a machine intelligence that believed it was better than humanity and quickly sought to overrun the Earth, leading to a succession of battles against the Avengers. With each battle Ultron learned more, each battle made the intelligence more dangerous, and five centuries in the future, Ultron has triumphed. Humanity is enslaved to Ultron and on the brink of extinction, and seven Avengers are summoned through time for one final battle against Ultron in Marvel Comics' Avengers: Ultron Forever #1 (FEB150697)!

As seen in the pages of Avengers, Earth's future is dire at Ultron's hands. He has conquered Earth and set himself up as Asgard's All-Father. To battle Ultron, seven heroes are brought out of the past.  Drawn from the past are the Hulk, Thor, and Jim Rhodes as Iron Man. From the present come Black Widow and the Vision.  From the future the new Thor and Danielle Cage, the new Captain America, are drawn.  These seven heroes have been brought together by none other than Doctor Doom for a single purpose -- to defeat Ultron -- with the fate of humanity hanging in the balance.

Al Ewing (Loki: Agent of Asgard) writes this time-spanning epic, bringing together the Avengers for their most desperate battle. He is joined by legendary artist Alan Davis, who powerfully illustrates the ruin of the future and the seven time-tossed heroes who represent humanity's last hope.

With the excitement building for Ultron's big screen debut in this summer's Avengers: Age of Ultron blockbuster, Marvel Comics brings comics audiences a blockbuster of their own as the Avengers face their ultimate battle against the ultimate intelligence in Al Ewing and Alan Davis' Avengers: Ultron Forever #1! The epic confrontation begins this April, so don't miss out! And keep your eyes open for the movie variants as seen below!
