Marvel Unleashes Secret Wars

Marvel Editor-in-Chief Axel Alonso and Senior Vice President of Publishing Tom Brevoort talked about some of the changes coming to Marvel with the upcoming Secret Wars this May when they previously spoke at the Secret Wars Live Kickoff press conference that was held at Midtown Comics in New York City. Quite possibly the biggest announcement was that the Marvel Universe and Ultimate Universe will combine at the start of Secret Wars.

"The Ultimate Universe and Marvel Universe - they're going to smash together, “ said Alonso. Brevoort added "The Marvel Universe as you know it is done. The Ultimate Universe as you know it is done."

The new Marvel Universe will become Battleworld, as Marvel had previously announced with a series of teasers. Marvel also launched a new interactive Battleworld map at their website, so click here to check it out!
