Secrets Safe For Superman #38

Article Image 7245Geoff Johns and John Romita Jr. are reportedly locked in a room with little contact available to the outside world. We know. We've tried. We've beaten on the DC door asking, "But we have to know! Superman looks as if he's Agent Smith coming apart in The Matrix! What's up with the Man of Steel exploding? Lightning from his face? Talk!"

We were shown the door.

Actually, they just told us we'd have to wait like everyone else for the details. Loose lips sink ships, and those in charge of secrets at DC are sewing everyone's mouths shut to ensure that the playing field is even once Superman #38 (NOV140223) hits the shops. When the issue’s ready for the rush to the cash register, every staff writer and journalist is on his/her own to see who can first make it to the Web with a headline.

You can’t blame us for trying. What we do know is that in issue #38, we can expect a new costume, new powers and new friends and enemies for Kal-El. Not just a day in the life, to say the least. All furniture in the room is going to be moved, and we’ll just have to deal with it? Yep. Looks that way. And bring your own coaster. And keep your laptop nearby on February 4th, because that’s when Geoff Johns and John Romita Jr. ’s extra-sized conclusion wraps up.

Oh, yeah, and we get to see Romita Jr. draw Batman, too.

Look for Superman #38 (NOV140223) in comic shops February 4th!
