Tarantino’s Django Unchained turned out to be yet another one of the filmmaker’s many successful and critically acclaimed films in his mounting catalog of work. Dynamite Entertainment now brings comic fans the first (of hopefully many) all-new, original stories of the man named Django, and his first tale presents another familiar hero of the West.

When Django has a fateful encounter with the wealthy and mysterious Don Diego de la Vega, neither of them can fully comprehend the others’ potential at first glance. In a short time, both Django and de la Vega (the man otherwise known as Zorro) will quickly realize that a partnership between the two could prove invaluable when it comes to taming the brutality of the Wild West. De La Vega, a man on a mission to find corruption, will hire Django, a man without a path, to seek out De La Vega’s next target for justice.

Django creator Quentin Tarantino teams with famed comic writer Matt Wagner to bring back both heroes to the world of comics with the team-up you never saw coming. For Django, the “D” may be silent, but Zorro’s “Z” will speak loud enough for the both of them.
