Robin Rises During Family Feud

As if things couldn’t get any more maddening for fans who follow the Dark Knight. Our attention is squarely on the family feud with Ra’s al Ghul, and now news comes that an earthquake is on the way. Not literally, of course. But something so seismic, that many of us will wonder why early warning detection didn’t give us the clues we so desperately wanted.

And that’s really the trick, isn’t it? Wondering what DC has up its sleeve for a character that is so dear to the Dark Knight, and yet has been a constant source of heartache.

In Robin Rises: Omega #1, a monumental storyline by Peter J. Tomasi re-introduces the Boy Wonder, showcasing artwork from Andy Kubert and Jonathan Glapion. Based on the cover artwork, all bets are on the Lazarus factor giving us Damian Wayne, Bruce Wayne's 10-year-old son that was killed in battle last year.

But could something so cryptic really be what DC has in store for Robin? Peter J. Tomasi has said in previous interviews that people shouldn’t assume anything. After all, there’s a huge gene pool to skim given that names such as Dick Grayson, Tim Drake, Jason Todd, and Carrie Kelley are all candidates for a big surprise.
