Sniegoski Strikes Back With Vampirella

Tom Sniegoski has returned to the world of vampires as the writer of Vampirella Strikes from Dynamite Entertainment.

He is one of the most successful fan favorite writers coming back to Vampirella, having previously written multiple Vampirella series including the long running Vengeance of Vampirella #1- #25.

"It's really great to be back," Sniegoski said in an interview with PREVIEWSworld. "I've followed the yellow brick road back to Vampy, back to the half-naked Vampire chick."

Tom currently writes a series of angel-themed novels for Penguin and Simon & Schuster. Dynamite Entertainment President Nick Barrucci approached Tom about doing a story that uses those themes and pulls them into Vampirella's world of darkness.

"A world that's usually considered all light and wonderful, I'm showing there's a dark side to that world as well," said Sniegoski.
