Renowned director David Fincher (FightClub, The Social Network, Se7en) and Venice, California-based Blur Studios have joined forces to launch a Kickstarter campaign to get Dark Horse's The Goon into a movie theater near you. The idea to create a movie based on Eric Powell's popular character was first announced at 2010's San Diego Comic-Con; however, since then, the project has stalled.
The Kickstarter, running now until November 11, hopes to raise at least $400,000 to get the film off the ground.
