DC has announced changes to the following issues of Action Comics:

Action Comics #17 (DEC120252, $3.99) will now be a 40-page issue. In the lead story, written by Grant Morrison with art by Rags Morales, Brad Walker, Mark Propst, Andrew Hennessy and Cam Smith, it’s no small battle as Superman fights to save all of creation. Plus, in the backup story, written by Sholly Fisch with art by Chris Sprouse and Karl Story, find out whatever happened to the men of tomorrow(s).

Action Comics #18 (JAN130221) will now be a 48-page issue with a cover price of $4.99 and $5.99 for the Combo Pack edition. This issue will feature a cover by Rags Morales that appeared in the solicitation to issue #17. A “We Can Be Heroes” blank variant cover is also available.
The lead story, written by Grant Morrison with art by Rags Morales, Brad Walker, Cam Smith and Andrew Hennessy, is destined to be a milestone in The New 52! Plus, in the backup story, written by Sholly Fisch with art by Chris Sprouse and Karl Story, learn how Superman’s battle against the Little Man has some very far-reaching consequences. The new creative team of writer Andy Diggle and artist Tony S. Daniel now will make its debut in Action Comics #19 (FEB130138, $3.99; Combo Pk.: FEB130140, $4.99).

IDW has retitled its Classic Popeye line as Popeye Classics.
