2013 marks the 85th birthday of Mickey Mouse. To commemorate this special occasion, Jim Shore has created a special "Mickey Through the Years" collection that highlights several milestones over the decades. 1928's "Plane Crazy" was the first Disney cartoon but the third released. 1935's "The Band Concert" was Mickey's first appearance in color. Mickey's first time in a feature film came as "The Sorcerer's Apprentice" in 1940's Fantasia. "Roundup Mickey" from 1955 depicts the mouse as he appeared on the Mickey Mouse Club. Finally, "Modern Day Mickey" shows off Mickey as he appears today. Each figure stands between 6" and 7 1/2" tall and is made of stone resin.
