Jem and the Holograms is an animated TV series that ran from '85 to '88 in U.S. first-run syndication to millions of young viewers. The show revolves around Jerrica, a music company owner and Jem, her glamorous pop singer alter-ego. Jerrica is able to transform into Jem with the help of a unique computer system that can create realistic holograms of virtually anything.
