BRIEF GUIDE TO SUPERHEROES FROM SUPERMAN TO AVENGERS SC

This Brief History looks at the great superhero creators, their diverse range of creations, and the ways in which they have been reinvented throughout the generations. It will focus on the United States but include characters developed in India and Japan too. It will feature sections on the birth of the superhero, the DC family, the challenge to DC from the Marvel family, superheroes deconstructed in the 1980s (Watchmen and Frank Miller's Dark Knight), and their rebirth at the movies from Batman to Spider-Man to The Avengers.
