Suicide Squad Gets A New Ongoing Series

With the rebirth of the DC Universe, all hands are on deck. It's a new day. A new game. And there's a new #1 issue coming your way for the lean and mean dream team known as the Suicide Squad.

But what we're talking about is Suicide Squad #1 (JUN160230), which is the launching point for an ongoing series written by Robbie Williams and illustrated by the one-and-only Jim Lee. Shipping twice monthly, this book kicks off with a storyline titled "The Black Vault," and it directs our attention to a mysterious cosmic item that drops to Earth. Now should this item have just made its way into the ocean, no harm no foul. But that's the problem. There is something very foul about to happen because the item made its way into the hands of people who would like to use it for reasons other than those which would be considered benevolent. Translated: bad people are about to do bad things with something that's going to turn out to be very very bad for everyone else.
