Amandla Stenberg Comes to Comics in Niobe: She is Life

A new fantasy series from Stranger Comics has been generating a lot of buzz lately thanks to its involvement with Hunger Games actress and "internet icon" Amandla Stenberg.

Niobe: She is Life #1 (SEP151580) is about an orphaned wild elf teenager and would-be savior of the vast and volatile fantasy world of Asunda. She is running from a past where the Devil himself would see her damned... toward an epic future that patiently waits for her to bind nations against the hordes of Hell.

Stenberg's character, Niobe, is first introduced in The Untamed OGN (SEP151582), a book that Geek and Sundry have called the “next great graphic novel epic.” The Untamed itself is in development as an animated TV show starring Sean Bean (Game of Thrones, LOTR) and will be produced by Film Roman (The Simpsons) with Lloyd Levin (Watchmen, Hellboy).
