Based on Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment's best-selling video game Batman: Arkham City, DC Collectibles' Batman: Arkham City Series 2 Action Figures were the best-selling toy product to specialty retailers in May.
Also in the top ten for DC Collectibles were the Cover Girls of the DCU: Raven Statue at #5 and the Justice League: Batman Action Figure at #6.
Other manufacturers in the top ten include Big Fish Toys (two items, led by the Mass Effect 3 Series 2 action figures at #4), Bowen Designs (the Storm Statue ranked #9), Kotobukiya (the Marvel x Bishoujo: Elektra Statue ranked #8), Diamond Select Toys (the Marvel Select: Avengers Movie — Hulk Action Figure ranked #2), McFarlane Toys (the PREVIEWS-Exclusive The Walking Dead Series 1 Rick/Michonne Action Figure 2-Pack ranked #7), and Square-Enix (the Metal Gear Solid Play Arts Kai: Solid Snake Action Figure ranked #10).

How does Diamond calculate the charts? It all starts at the comic book shop.
Data for Diamond’s sales charts — which include the monthly market shares and all top product charts — are compiled by Diamond Comic Distributors from a universe of over 3,500 accounts, comprised of comic book specialty shops and other merchant stores and buyers. The shops are primarily located in North America, with a percentage of sales also to international stores and buyers located throughout the world. The account base includes not only brick-and-mortar comic book specialty shops, but also Internet stores, chain stores, and other specialty stores.
Unit and dollars sales are calculated based upon orders invoiced and shipped to Diamond accounts during any given month, minus any copies that are distributed free of cost.
