Indie Edge June 2016: Gordon Rennie
May 18, 2016
Please tell us a bit about yourself!
I'm Scottish, like all the best comic writers are! I grew up reading 2000AD, and am now one of its main writers, having written Judge Dredd for a couple of years before moving over to my own created characters. I'm also a BAFTA and Writers Guild Award-nominated games writer, and tend to wander back and forth between the two mediums, which I guess makes me a good fit for a project like the Dishonored mini-series!
What are your favorite projects you’ve contributed to over the past decade?
The award-winning Robbie Burns: Witch Hunter graphic novel, any of the Department of Monsterology mini-series, and the 2000AD serials Absalom and Jaegir.
What are you currently working on?
Doctor Who for Titan, as well as Dishonored and one or two other things. The sequel to Robbie Burns: Witch Hunter, the third and — for now anyway — last series of Department of Monsterology. Plus a movie screenplay and several computer game projects…
