In 1985 the world was introduced to Trooper Jack Deth in the movie Trancers by director Charles Band (Puppet Master, Arena). A future cop from the year 2247 Jack Deth of Angel City PD doesn’t take trash from anyone and if he thinks you're a trancer then he doesn’t need a warrant to serve you his brand of justice. That usually means singing your body with his laser gun until your nothing more than a scorch mark on the ground. Trancers are weak willed scum turned into zombie like mind slaves to Deth's nemesis Martin Whistler. Whistler's trancers killed Jack's wife and fellow Angel City PD Trooper but all it seems to have done is tick him off.

After leaving a trail of scorched bodies in his wake Jack takes his revenge and kills Martin Whistler... or so he thinks. The city council reveals to Jack that Whistler managed to cheat Deth. He is alive and well inhabiting the body of his ancestor in the year 1985. Now it is up to Jack to time travel after him and see if he has what it takes to kill him dead all over again.

The comic adaption by Action Lab's Danger Zone and writers Jimmy Palmiotti and Justin Gray screams 1980's sci-fi action while Marcelo Salaza's artwork brings Jack Deth's rampage from the silver screen to paper. If you missed out on this one in single issues be sure to pick up the collected trade in stores this January!
