I think there comes a time when every kid might think that it would be really cool if they could be living a life other than their own. Maybe their family would have a little more money, a cooler neighborhood, or maybe they have super powers but sometimes that other life might choose you and send you yearning for the life you once had.

Teddy is an average American teenage boy living in a small country suburb. There are millions of others living lives just like him except that Teddy is living his life in Alaska and he’s bored out of his mind. In an innocent enough move he uploads a photo of his Dad to Facebook only to learn the dangers sharing personal information on social media. The world isn’t as big as it once was and everyone can be just a few clicks away if someone is determined to find someone. His father is recognized and it turns out the life he’s been living is a gigantic lie. Without his knowledge he has actually been enrolled in the witness protection program. His family is hiding and for very good reason. It doesn’t take long for his father’s past to come full circle as a man comes to their town seeking revenge for some wrong Teddy cannot even fathom.

With questions circling about his Father’s innocence and dangers from the past rising around them Teddy is about to find out that once you switch gears to the fast lane you might not be able to hit the brakes. Be sure to pick up Snow Blind from BOOM! Studios and writer Ollie Masters (The Kitchen) and artist Tyler Jenkins (Peter Panzerfaust) this December!
