Ash… in… space. My review could end right about there but I’m guessing Army of Darkness fans wouldn’t mind hearing a bit more. Did I mention the part about space?
The Deadites have set their rotting sights on the International Space Station (because why wouldn’t they?) and Ash, the resident expert of all things evil and dead, is always the best man for the job. Sure he may not be a trained astronaut or anything remotely resembling NASA’s poster child, but that doesn’t stop Ash from b**ch-slapping the same evil that took his girl, his hand, and now his Earth if the Deadites have anything to say about it. The evil of the middle ages meets the rocket age and they’ve learned a few new tricks.
Brian Cullen (The Sixth Gun, Night of the Living Deadpool) takes Ash to the last place you’d look while the art of Larry Watts only enables his bat-s**t crazy ideas you’re going to love every minute of. How does one wield a chainsaw in zero-gravity and not cut their own limbs off? Read along comic fans and find out because, when Ash is involved, someone’s limbs will be flying. And I still managed write this whole review without a cliché AOD quote. Groovy!
