We have all had our share of bad teachers, but the kids in classroom 3-E at the Kunugigaoka Junior High School drew really the short straws. Their new alien teacher from outer space nicknamed "The Unkillable Teacher" is a force to be reckoned with. After he asserted his dominance on the Earth by virtually obliterating the entirety of the moon he put us all on notice that in one year the Earth was next. The remnants of the moon, now just a sliver of its former self, remain in orbit as a reminder to us all that the clock is ticking.

The governments of the world have failed to protect us. He’s just too strong, too fast, and has a gigantic head that changes colors like a massive mood ring. That last one sounds like it might put a damper on his poker face but his top speed of Mach 20 make him a terror on a planetary scale. We have but one safety net. For some unfathomable reason this creature of unspeakable power has declared that he would be a teacher in the a junior high school and if one of his students manages to assassinate him before the end of the school year then the Earth will be spared its fate.

How can mere junior high students succeed where the massive military budgets of our world have failed? That’s where the Unkillable Teacher will step in with an unorthodox curriculum! He’s going to be teaching his own students how to get the job done.

Will the students succeed and save the Earth? Will they fail and doom the rest of the Earth to be sent to detention in hell after their teacher destroys the planet? Pick up Assassination Classroom from VIZ Media this December to find out.
