Dynamite Entertainment’s The Devilers is not your typical exorcist story! When the young skeptic Mr. Lieb meets with Father Malcolm to rediscover “his faith,” what he finds in turn is a jovially cynical, disenchanted, middle-age Irishman who enjoys a good debunking as much as a stiff drink. However, we quickly learn that first impressions can be misleading and all is not as it seems in Joshua Hale Fialkov’s (Bunker, Life After, I Vampire) newest and completely original atypical twist to the exorcist genre!

Yes, you have the demons superbly drawn by Matt Triano in all their gory, gross detail and your quintessential papal lackey’s who see the Devil’s work around every corner. But besides the standard western elements we have come to expect in every exorcist story, along with Father Malcolm, Fialkov brings together a bizarre menagerie of demonic beast fighting, supernaturally powered characters taken from around the world and all walks of life that embark on what promises to be an epic, and nothing short of apocalyptic, battle!
    
As a personal fan of the horror genre, after reading the first issue of The Devilers all of my expectations were blown away! Without a doubt, this series will be a fantastic read for any fans of horror who crave the slightly campy, cult horror vibe. But with its fast-paced action, superb edge-of-our-seat writing, and Triano’s beautifully classic art style, this series will also absolutely appeal to those who dig a good action-packed thriller and dynamic suspense story…with perhaps a bit of the supernatural thrown into the mix!
