We all know the artist behind those great paperback covers of Tarzan, Conan, and the Death Dealer now we are treated to stories of the man beyond the paint brush.

With Frank Frazetta: Art and Remembrances by Frank Frazetta, Jr.Press we see what the man himself was like and are shown a true picture of the legend that is Frank Frazetta. This book, written by his oldest son Frank Frazetta, Jr., gives us insight into the artist’s life with stories and anecdotes provided by those who were there as it happened. This book is packed full of original artwork from the author’s personal collection along with book covers, record album artwork, movie posters, comic book and comic strip artwork.

I’ll be splurging on the limited hardcover edition which has an additional 16 pages of material. As a fan of Frazetta any information and art by him is a welcome addition to my library shelves going next to my other books featuring art by Frazetta.
