Just in time for the November 20 theatrical release of The Twilight Saga: New Moon, Bluewater Productions introduces the first-ever illustrated biography of the world renowned author of Twilight in Female Force: Stephenie Meyer.

Named USA Today's "Author of the Year" in 2008, bestselling author Stephenie Meyer is responsible for ushering in a new vampire-centric fan base. From her beginnings in Connecticut and Utah, to her fame and fortune as today's hottest author, witness her story being told by the most famous vampire of them all in a new comic book that's sure to take a bite out of comic book expectations!

In regards to how the book got the greenlight, Bluewater Productions Publisher Darren G. Davis explains all the excitement that went in to the project.

"Years ago," he explains, "I was a huge Anne Rice fan reading all the Interview with the Vampire books.  So I balked at the whole Twilight phenomenon until a friend of mine forced me to read it. I am in the middle of the third book right now. I have been to Forks, and own the movie.  I think it is safe to say that I am hooked like everyone else in the world."

Davis later said to Previewsworld, "We chose Stephenie Meyer to be one of the subjects for Female Force because her voice is one for a new generation.  Now people will find out the history of how she created this series, as well as her life story."

After the publication of her first novel, Twilight, booksellers chose Stephenie Meyer as one of the "most promising new authors of 2005" (Publishers Weekly). Since then, the Twilight books have sold over 53 million copies, and have been translated into 37 languages.

Female Force: Stephenie Meyer will be published in October, to coincide with the movie’s slated release of November 20.
