Fantastic Four Trailer Hits The Web

Reinvention is the word of the day. The people who brought us X-Men: Days of Future Past were put to work to bring us the new Fantastic Four movie, and here's the trailer! Director Josh Trank (Chronicle) and screenwriter-producer Simon Kinberg (X-Men: Days of Future Past) are reportedly big comic nerds, and used the Ultimate Fantastic Four as inspiration to reimagine the team for their film.

The movie centers on four young outsiders who teleport to an alternate and dangerous universe, which alters their physical form in shocking ways. Their lives irrevocably upended, the team must learn to harness their daunting new abilities and work together to save Earth from a former friend turned enemy.

Fantastic Four is in theaters August 7, 2015.
