Originally planned to be unveiled during C2E2 in Chicago, Marvel has exclusively released to PREVIEWSworld never-before-seen series and variants to support their upcoming Guardians of the Galaxy film - all available in time for the movie's August 1 release date!

Newly announced and arriving in comic shops this July, meet the team of outlaws in the special one-shot Guardians of the Galaxy: Galaxy’s Most Wanted #1 (MAY140848).

From creators Will Corona Pilgrim and Andrea Di Votti, Rocket Raccoon and Groot — your favorite cosmic bounty hunters (and soon to be world-famous movie stars) — leap into action in an all-new adventure! Could it possibly happen? Is Groot attempting to arrest…his best bud Rocket?

Plus the title contains a reprinting Thor #314, featuring the Thunder God in cosmic combat with the mean, green Guardian known as Drax! You'll also want to pick up Sara Pichelli sketch variant - available for order in the May PREVIEWS!

Want even more Rocket Raccoon? Well, you're in luck! Scottie Young's series, Rocket Racoon #1 (MAY140797), will also hit comic shops in July. This comic marks Young's first foray into both writing and illustrating a Marvel title.

As defenders of the cosmos go, Rocket Raccoon has faced his fair share of galactic battles. He’s been a hero to the weak, a champion of good, a protector of the innocent, a heartthrob to the many intergalactic female species and now--a raccoon on the run?! (I’m sorry, I’m sorry, a “formidable-and-expert-Guardian” on the run. Rocket is NOT a raccoon, okay?) Rocket’s high-flying life of adventure and heroism may soon be a thing of the past when he becomes a wanted man—and the authorities are not the only one on his TAIL!

Because let’s be real, this is the only Guardian of the Galaxy you actually care about. Am I right?

In addition to the standard cover from Scottie Young, Marvel will also be a LEGO variant featuring Stan Lee by Leonel Castellani and one from David Petersen.
