Stjepan Sejic's Sunstone Gets Collected

A slice-of-life BDSM-centric webcomic that pairs a budding writer and introverted dominant woman has long been a topic of conversation on the web, particularly on deviantART. Now the flammable fling gets collected in a trade paperback with the Sunstone OGN (OCT140613) from Image Comics. Stjepan Sejic has long been known for his work on Witchblade, and has once again been thrust into the spotlight for his recent work on Death Vigil. But now with Sunstone, the artist/author uses the comic medium as a way to illustrate that, if done properly, the BDSM scene can be safe. It can be a sane and consensual activity that can glue a loving relationship. Throw in some supporting characters that include a happily married couple and tattoo artist that complains constantly about her friends' alternative lifestyles, and you've got a new breed of romance comic that's shaken, not stirred.
