iZombie To Premiere On The CW Network In March

It's been a while since the news broke that iZombie would be coming to television. But the wait is finally over as DC Comics has announced iZombie is coming to The CW Tuesday, March 17! It looks as if Tuesday night will be comic book night, as iZombie will replace Supernatural to follow on the heels of The Flash, which airs at 8 pm.

Although iZombie is adapted from the same-titled DC Comics/Vertigo book, it's Executive Producer is someone outside of the DC universe. Rob Thomas of Veronica Mars fame is tapped to make the story come alive on our TV sets. The story tells of a newly-turned zombie that takes a job in a coroner's officer to get access to fresh brains. The series stars Rose McIver as Liv, who discovers that eating brains not only allows her to keep her humanity, but lets her inherit a corpse's memories. And this makes here a great asset to the homicide division.
