Hoping to find out if her memories of being rescued from monsters by a mysterious boy in her childhood are true, Akane travels to the remote region of Ryugenzawa, and is reunited with that boy - Shinnosuke. But Shinnosuke has a memory problem - he can barely remember anything including events from the past! The only thing keeping him alive is land's magical water, which causes animals to grow to giant size. Worse yet, when Ranma ventures into the forest to bring Akane home, he begins to suspect that she may be falling in love with the poor, doomed Shinnosuke. Will he risk everything to help his rival, even if it means losing Akane?
