JIM HENSONS SHADOWS OF DARK CRYSTAL YA NOVEL #1

Jim Henson's The Dark Crystal: Shadow of the Dark Crystal is the first book in a series of young adult hardcover novels set in the world of Jim Henson's The Dark Crystal. To expand on this rich legacy of The Dark Crystal, Penguin and The Jim Henson Company selected J. M. Lee's story "Shadow of the Dark Crystal" from nearly 500 submissions as part the highly publicized The Dark Crystal Author Quest, which was launched at San Diego Comic-Con in 2013. The story takes place years before the events of the classic film and follows the journey of a young Gelfling woman who leaves her secluded home to uncover the truth surrounding the disappearance of her brother who has been accused of treason by the sinister Skeksis Lords.
