First Look at HBO's "Watchmen" Series Revealed
Oct 16, 2018
Just announced as having began production this week, HBO's Watchmen series has revealed their first teaser.
The teaser features an unknown masked vigilante in a police uniform.
HBO and series creator/writer Damon Lindelof have been tight-lipped about the show, but Lindelof has said that the series will not be an "adaptation" of the legendary DC story, rather a "remix."
"...The bass lines in those familiar tracks are just too good and we’d be fools not to sample them," he said in a open letter in May. Those original twelve issues are our Old Testament."
Watchmen will star Jeremy Irons, Regina King, Don Johnson, Tom Mison, Frances Fisher, Jacob Ming-Trent, Tim Blake Nelson, Louis Gossett Jr., Andrew Howard, Yahya Abdul-Matteen II and Sara Vickers in undisclosed roles.
Nine Inch Nails frontman Trent Reznor is providing the music.
