NYX: The Complete Collection

Quietly introduced in 2004, X-23 — also known as Laura Kinney — has quickly become one of the most popular X-Men. Created for the X-Men Evolution television show, Laura made her comics’ debut in NYX, an under-the-radar series about gutterpunk mutants trying to survive in New York City. In NYX Complete Collection (MAR160951), readers can learn more about the quiet girl with long black hair who is forced to fight for survival on the streets of the big city. This decidedly adult take on the mutant genre was an eye-opening exploration of the kids not lucky enough to wind up at Xavier’s School, and showed the seedier side of mutantkind in the Marvel Universe.
