Massive Momentum for the Master of Mystic Arts

Directed by Scott Derrickson, the Doctor Strange movie is popping up everywhere on the Internet, as actor Benedict Cumberbatch is a dead-on match for the Sorcerer Supreme, and the film looks to be the most visually dazzling of all Marvel films produced.

In the August edition of Marvel PREVIEWS, we get the skinny that writer Robbie Thompson and artist Javier Rodriguez are soon unveiling Doctor Strange & The Sorcerers Supreme #1 (AUG160798), and this new comic book series puts forth the precedent that Dr. Stephen Vincent Strange may not have enough firepower to counter the force which seeks to unravel the fabric of reality. Time travel may be needed to gather a dream team of champions — those individuals being the past, present, and future Sorcerer Supremes!

This new direction for Doctor Strange looks to be just as much fun as the upcoming film, so check out Doctor Strange & The Sorcerers Supreme #1 (AUG160798) in the August Marvel PREVIEWS.
