Duck Avenger #1

Darkwing Duck stand aside, there’s a new masked mallard fighting crime in Duck Avenger #1 (AUG160518). It’s up to Donald Duck to wear the mask and cape in IDW Publishing’s latest adaptation of a European Walt Disney comic as the supervillain Red Raider sets his sights on Duckburg for his latest crime spree. Donald must team up with the mysterious Lila Lee and take down the malicious Red Raider all while the crook newsman Angus Fangus tries to ruin the Duck Avenger’s reputation. It’s up to Duck Avenger to save the day, if he can!

Chimichanga: The Sorrow of the World's Worst Face #1

Step right up and enjoy the circus with Eric Powell and Stephanie Buscema’s second tale of the beaded girl Lula and her adorably terrifying monster friend Chimichanga. Dark Horse Comics is bringing more of this delightful twosome’s shenanigans to comic shops in Chimichanga: The Sorrow of the World’s Worst Face #1 (AUG160022). It’s up to Lula and Chimichanga to drum up business for Wrinkle’s Traveling Circus with a brand new act, but just who is the person behind the world’s worst face? All at once bizarre and heartwarming, this all-ages series is perfect for reader who like their comics full of whimsy and weirdness.

DC Super Hero Girls, Volume 2

Class is back in session with DC Comics' second installment of the best-selling franchise DC Super Hero Girls. Wonder Woman takes center stange in DC Super Hero Girls Hits and Myths (AUG160270as the girls study The Odyssey in their “Intro to Epics” class, complete with some hands on monster training.
