ComicConnect is still adding items to Event Auction 58, including a copy of Action Comics #1 CGC 5.5 Restored.

The book joins a stellar line-up of Golden Age firsts, including All Star Comics #3 5.5 (first Justice Society of America), Detective Comics #38 5.0 (Robin’s debut), and More Fun Comics #31 CGC 9.6 (Superman’s first published appearance). Silver Age keys are led by Spider-Man’s debut with multiple copies of Amazing Fantasy #15 5.0, 3.5, and 2.5. Bronze Age finds include Giant-Size X-Men #1 9.9 and a rare Star Wars #1 35¢ price variant.

Event Auction 58’s original art collection had added a Frank Frazetta Thun’da, King of the Congo #1 page, Jack Kirby’s Thor #150 close-up of a seemingly slain God of Thunder, Neal Adam’s signed Thor #69 cover, Rob Liefeld’s X-Force #5 half-splash with Cable, Domino, and Gideon, and John Byrne’s Iron Fist #15 half-splash of a meeting between Wolverine and Danny Rand, and his X-Men vs Magneto and Juggernaut battle illustration.  

The final deadline for Event Auction 58 consignments is May 20, with interest free cash advances for original art, comics, and pulps.
